Meet the Principal

My name is Clarissa Johnston-Abril and I am proud to be the principal of Ryan STEAM Academy. I have a Bachelors of Arts in Special Education and Elementary Education and a Masters of Arts in Emancipatory School Leadership. For the past nine years, I have been a part of the Ryan community, first as a Special Education teacher, and then as Principal.

I am excited to uphold Ryan STEAM Academy's commitment to developing students' 21st century skills through STEAM, the engineering design process, and exploration. At Ryan, we are so proud to be a STEAM-focused school where creativity, collaboration, and innovation are at the heart of everything we do. Whether your child loves science, technology, art, or building new things, they’ll find plenty of opportunities to shine at Ryan STEAM Academy.
