STEAM

Our award-winning STEAM program immerses students in hands-on learning through design challenges.  Throughout the year, students are exposed to a high level of academic vocabulary when they participate in the engineering design process.  Our teachers facilitate learning by providing background information, literature, and materials.  Students take charge of their own learning when engage in problem solving and use a growth mindset to determine the final product. Last year our students designed bridges, created solar ovens (and even ate what they baked!), hand pollinators, and much, much more!
